Daily inspection and maintenance methods for water park equipment
Maintenance can effectively improve the operating efficiency of the equipment, reduce equipment loss, prolong the life of the equipment, and ensure the safe operation of the equipment, thus ensuring the safety of tourists. Therefore, daily inspections of water park equipment and maintenance during the park closure are essential!
Water slides are common types of water amusement facilities. Visitors enter from entrance, sit or lie, and the body has close contact with the surface of the slide. The break or protrusion of the surface of slide is seriously harmful to the body of the tourists. Therefore, the slides should be properly inspected and maintained frequently, which can ensure the safety of tourists and prolong the service life of the slides.
Inspection and maintenance work is generally carried out on the waterway of the slide, the support frame (column and steel frame), and electrical equipment etc.
1. The inspection and maintenance of slide
1.1 For relatively smooth slides which people can walk on the waterway, check each slide for the following points before using the equipment every day.
(I) Obstacle on the slide!
(2) Cracks, debris, and blistering on the surface of the slide.
(3) Whether the joint is rough or broken.
(4) Is the seal at the joint cracked?
(5) Is there any deformation at the turn?
(6) Whether there is any abnormal shaking problem when walking on the waterway?
(7) Whether the interface is loose?
For high-risk and high-speed slides, people cannot walk on the waterway to check. This type of daily inspection is as follows:
(I) Observing the stains and breakage points on the surface from a distance.
(2) Perform a test slip by the test slipper to observe whether there is abnormally shaken about the part or the entire structure!
(3) Let the test personnel record the place where the surface of the slide way is rough and relevant problems.
1.2 Slide maintenance
Cleaning: When there is stain on the surface of the slide, use a soft bristle brush and a neutral detergent to clean the dust, grease and sunscreen on the slide. For stains that cannot be cleaned, they can be repaired with varnish or lacquer wax after polish.
Waxing: Fiberglass need to be waxed by high-quality waxes at least twice a year. In general, before waxing, the black spots and faded places should be polished to its original gloss by a good-quality brightener. Waxing can prevent fading caused by long-term exposure to ultraviolet light. The more often the surface is waxed, the longer it lasts.
It is important to note that we need to be very careful when using tools such as polishing, do not to overheat the surface. Polishing overheating can cause sand-like particles on the surface of the slide, causing blisters and streaks. This requires repainting.
Repair: Normal use can also cause debris and cracks on the fiberglass slide. Repair must be done with a qualified glass glue.
Daxin Water Park equipment reminds you of debris and cracks inside the gel coat, or the scratch depth is greater than the thickness of the gel coat, but the fiberglass surface is not completely broken. Follow the steps below to repair:
Prepare tools to needed: (l) sandpaper, 36-100 mesh, 220-320 mesh (mixed dry), 600 mesh (mild dry), (2) sanding tool (3) acetone (4) masking tape (5) knife (6) Putty knife (7) Mixed wood board (8) Glass fiber resin hardener (9) Gel coat oil $ (10) Oil shaving (11) Slurry polisher (12) High quality wax.
Repair steps:
(I) For rough places, we can use 36-100 mesh sandpaper to polish the rough edges.
(2) Wash with acetone, and let it dry.
(3) Use two masking tapes for the area to be covered.
(4) Apply the repair mixture to the repaired area with a putty knife.
Note: These places must be dry and clean, free of dirt such as dust and sand.
(5) Keep the repaired area dry and 20 minutes to 1 hour needed to harden.
(6) After the repaired area is hardened, polish the area and the surrounding area with 100 mesh sandpaper.
Note: Sanding may move and cover masking tape. Paste it before painting.
(7) Apply a gel coat with a brush. Hardening takes 20-60 minutes.
Note: Oil brushes and other Tools must be cleaned with acetone.
(8) After the gel coat is dried, the tape is peeled off, polished with a polishing tool and 220-320 mesh wet sandpaper, and then polished with a 600 mesh sandpaper.
(9) Wash the painted surface with a polisher and water.
(10) Waxing.
Note: Repair tools include toxic, corrosive, and flammable items. China Travel Information Network reminds you that it can only be used under excellent ventilation conditions. Avoid inhaling these gases as they are harmful. If you get it to the eyes by mistake, rinse thoroughly with water for several minutes and look for a doctor. If contact with skin or clothing, wash immediately with acetone.
Hairline cracks, sometimes called spider webs or star-shaped cracks, may appear on the surface of gel coats or glass products. Daxin Water Park reminds you that this is caused by the combined action of corrosion, impact and shaking. Although it affects the appearance, it does not affect the structural strength. Hairline cracks can be repaired with a 100-mesh sandpaper in the damaged area and then be re-coated with gel coat.
The edge of the sink includes a thick, and hard gel coat. The pressure caused by normal use can also cause cracks in this place. These are not structural problems. To repair these edge cracks, you can use a 100 mesh sandpaper to re-coat a gel coat on the damaged area.
1.3 Inspection and maintenance of connection part.
The slide connector plays a very important role in passenger comfort and fun. The connection part should be as flat as possible. It should be noted that the below connection part cannot be larger than the above one.
In accordance with national standards, the height difference cannot be greater than 3mm. A proper warranty will keep the connection smooth.
As the temperature changes, the fiberglass part will be deformed. Therefore, the sealing of these parts should use an elastic material. If these interfaces need to be resealed, all old fillers must be re-cleaned, the fiberglass need to be cleaned, and the connection part need to be refilled with flexible polyurethane sealant. Do not use plastic that will harden. Sealing material which is higher than surface of slide on connection part must be removed from the surface of the slide with a putty knife. Any remaining traces must be wiped off and the broken section removed with a thinner. Do not pour the thinner directly onto the slide connector as it will dissolve the sealant.
As used, the connecting part may become rough, especially if metal objects are slipping on the slide. For debris and cracks, you can follow the steps above for surface repair.
2, The support frame inspection
Uncoated steel structures require inspections from time to time on a twice-yearly basis. Carefully inspect the area around the weld and galvanize if necessary. If it rusts, look for the cause and pay more attention. A comprehensive, professional inspection is required for a decade operation or more.
If a wooden structural frame is used, it is rarely used at present, and it is necessary to check its integrity, the firmness of the joint and others on an annual basis. After five years, we must conduct a comprehensive and professional inspection.
The environmental conditions of the locations where equipment is used can vary greatly, affecting the above-mentioned time. In some corrosive environments, such as seaside or indoor installations, the space of time is usually shortened.
Inspection of other parts at least once a year.
(1) Concrete stairs and tables, especially the leading edge of each level of the stairs, should be regularly checked for cracking, check whether the metal decorative F surface is aging.
(2) The weld should be inspected frequently and the bolts should be tightened.
(3) The riveted screws should be checked for consistency and corrosion, and the concrete floor next to the metal plate should be inspected for goodness.
3, electrical / mechanical system inspection.
It is necessary to check whether the wiring of the electric control cabinet and the motor is firm and there is no water ingress every day. Normally, turn on the power before starting the device and check the voltage of the power supply, check if the rotating parts of the motor and water pump etc is smooth. and the lubrication is sufficient. The shelter on the entrance of the pump is also checked to ensure that there are no structural defects.
Check whether the electrical protection on the electrical control cabinet is normal (such as the current protection switch) and whether the electrical circuit is aging. Check that the ports of the water pump and water pipe are well sealed and that there is no looseness at the installation.
Every year, check whether the grounding protection of electrical equipment is complete and effective, and whether the grounding resistance meets the requirements of relevant standards. Daxin water park reminds you whether the insulation performance of electric motors, transformers, switch buttons and lines of electrical equipment is good, and whether the insulation value meets relevant standards.
The above is the general inspection and maintenance, the user must strictly follow the instructions provided by the manufacturer and check the maintenance manual. In particular, some special materials and processes are used in the manufacture, and there may be additional requirements during maintenance. The use of water amusement equipment is relatively seasonal. When not in use, the equipment should be thoroughly cleaned and stored. When used, the equipment should be properly inspected and maintained to ensure the safe use of the equipment.
